Esther Ghebremichael, DDS, is passionate about helping people sleep better so they can feel better and live healthier lives. With a strong focus on dental sleep medicine, she is dedicated to providing effective, comfortable solutions for patients struggling with sleep apnea, snoring, and chronic fatigue.
Dr. Ghebremichael graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2009 and went on to complete a residency in hospital dentistry at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. There, she worked closely with medically complex patients—an experience that shaped her comprehensive, whole-person approach to care. She continued serving as an attending dentist at the VA until 2020.
In 2012, Dr. Ghebremichael founded Star Dental Clinic to serve the 40 West community, followed by the expansion of Lily Dental on the east side of Indianapolis in 2020. While she has built a strong foundation in general dentistry, her clinical passion has increasingly centered on dental sleep medicine and the life-changing impact it can have on patients’ overall health.
After recognizing the significant connection between untreated sleep apnea and serious health conditions such as heart disease, cognitive decline, and daytime fatigue, Dr. Ghebremichael pursued advanced training in this field. In 2019, she became a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, equipping her with the expertise to provide customized oral appliance therapy for sleep-disordered breathing.
Today, Dr. Ghebremichael focuses on helping patients who are unable to tolerate CPAP therapy, as well as those suffering from snoring and poor-quality sleep. She is committed to educating patients about the dental solutions available—many of which are simple, comfortable, and highly effective.
Her mission is to help each patient breathe better, sleep better, and ultimately live a healthier, more energized life through personalized, practical care that goes beyond traditional dentistry.
